INILAH.COM, Seoul, South Korea Group automakers Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group (HKAG) plans to make the cars that were environmentally friendly with low exhaust gas emissions for the sake of saving the environment.

CEO and Chairman Chung Mong-Koo HKAG revealed that his side will work hard to break into the top five countries that automakers produce cars or green environmentally friendly car.

“We want to focus on environmentally friendly technologies (green technology) and development of clean energy to help the country become one of the four countries in the world to create environmentally friendly cars,” said Chung.

One part of this strategy of Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) said it will launch its first small car hybrid Elantra LPI Hybrid in July next year. HKAG plans to expand its production of this model to model mid-size sedan. HKAG plans to produce 30 000 hybrid cars in 2010.

HKAG also berenacan to increase production capacity to 500 000 units in the upcoming 2018 serkaligus creating jobs and higher profits from its suppliers.

HKAG also plans to produce electric cars commercially Fuel Cell Electric Perabotan (FCEV) in the year 2012 by producing 1000 units in the year and will increase the rate of 30,000 units in 2018. In the longer term, HKAG plans to produce 1 million vehicles in 2030.

More specifically, HKAG plans to mass produce hybrid electric car plug-ins in 2013 and is currently in development stage at the battery.

HKAG say as a player in the automotive industry in South Korea it is not only to be the leader in the technology side, but also could create vast employment opportunities and encourage economic growth in the domestic ginseng.
